What is a tag? On this page, a tag is a word that gets attached to a picture. Then that picture is forever associated with that word. Likewise, the word is associated with the picture, and may be associated with more than one picture. You may notice that when the tagged words are displayed, you can click on it and you will be sent to a page with all the pictures that have been tagged with that word.
